My name is Melinda, and I was born and raised in Nanaimo. I think this is a great place to raise a family. I have opened my home to provide high quality daycare services to families in our community. I understand how hard it can be to find high quality affordable childcare where you can feel comfortable leaving your child.
I have a nursing background and worked for a few years at a Victoria hospital. When I started having my own children, I realized how much I loved spending time with children and I was interested to learn more about the early years. I studied Early Childhood Education through Northern Lights College and gained work experience in a Preschool, Childcare Center and in running a Licensed Family Childcare. With my Early Childhood Training and experience, I provide a safe,nurturing and stimulating environment for your child/children.
I am a kind and caring individual who has a passion for teaching young children. I enjoy establishing a relationship with families,making solid attachments with the children and being a Care Provider. I think this is one of the most important jobs!!
